Freight transportation is an essential link in the process of physical transactions. For large cargo, whether it is lifting operations before transportation or unloading operations after arrival at the destination, careful and standardized operations must be carried out. At present, the mainstream unloading methods for large cargo are mainly divided into three types. The first method is mechanical lifting, which directly uses large cranes to lift heavy objects from transport vehicles or ships and transfer them to the ground or other transport vehicles. This method is easy to operate, has a short construction period, high operational efficiency, and strong safety and stability.

The second method is horizontal transportation, which relies on a loading and unloading transportation platform with a certain height and slope, and auxiliary equipment such as loading and unloading tools and skateboards are placed at the bottom of large equipment. Then, with the help of traction machinery, the equipment is smoothly pulled from the transport ship or truck to the ground or flatbed transport vehicle and fixed. But this method is difficult to operate and takes a long time overall.

The third method is the hydraulic jack lifting method, which places the hydraulic jack at the bottom of the heavy object for lifting operations. After the heavy object is lifted, it slowly moves with the help of a sliding rail and completes loading and unloading through horizontal displacement, achieving easy landing and transportation of large goods.

The use of hydraulic jacks to transport large cargo can essentially replace the traditional heavy-duty lifting system of wire rope and pulley combination, with convenient operation, low energy consumption cost, and strong practicality. It is a recommended and referenced method for loading and unloading large cargo.
