In a precision manufacturing workshop, the installation difficulty of a heavy-duty machine tool is relatively high. When the machine tool body weighing tens of tons is lifted to the designated area, the slight unevenness on the ground becomes a key obstacle affecting installation accuracy. The screw jack adjusts the height and position accurately, making it convenient for workers to install and operate.
The installation team first sets up screw jacks at the four load-bearing angles of the machine base. At the moment when the rocker rotates, the sound of gear meshing is heard regularly in the workshop. As the screw slowly lifts, the red line of the laser level slightly bounces on the machine tool guide rail. Even when the operation is stopped in a load-bearing state, the screw can firmly lock the current height to avoid position deviation caused by external disturbances. When the last fixed bolt passed through the base screw hole, the sweat beads on the foreheads of the installers reflected the cold light on the metal surface of the machine tool, while the four screw jacks still held steadily, like silent craftsmen, witnessing the transformation of another precision equipment from component to finished product.
This installation work lasted for several hours, and the screw jack, with its reliable and precise mechanical structure, eliminated the risk of "making a thousand miles of mistakes" in industrial production and became one of the important tools in the workshop.
