Spiral jack is a commonly used lifting tool with simple operation and large support capacity. During the operation of the screw jack, some situations may affect its normal use.
There are various reasons why the screw jack cannot be pressed down. Firstly, it is possible that the screw thread is damaged. Long term use or improper operation can cause thread wear, deformation, or breakage, making it difficult to transmit power and exert pressure. Secondly, overloading is also a common factor. If the actual load exceeds the rated load of the jack, it cannot overcome resistance and cannot be pressed down. Furthermore, poor lubrication can increase friction between components and hinder the rotation of the screw. When the lubricating oil dries up, is missing, or mixed with impurities, such problems will occur. In addition, rusting and jamming of internal parts of the jack, such as nuts and screws biting, can also cause the situation of being unable to be pressed down. Another possibility is that the jack is not placed smoothly during use, causing the direction of force to deviate, resulting in ineffective force application and affecting the downward pressure effect.
If the screw jack cannot be pressed down, it should be checked immediately and the problem should be solved before continuing to use.
